Monday, April 29th

4:00 pm               CFA Annual Meeting & 2012 Safety Awards Presentation

4:15 pm               General Session: Health Care Reform Updates - Guidance for Compliance
to Recent Affordable Care Act Regulations

The Healthcare Reform regulations - the Affordable Care Act (ACA) - has many complex requirements for employers and health plans. With the law now moving toward full implementation, many employers are focusing more attention on the ACA's rules and, as a result, have more questions than ever. The presentation will focus on an in-depth review of an employer's considerations on compliance with the law, with emphasis on the employer shared responsibility or "Play-or-Pay" provisions. We will review the results of a real life case study that details the financial implications of maintaining an employer-sponsored health plan versus dropping coverage in favor of paying the government penalty.

We are pleased to welcome back Jeff Jorth, Principal, Group Benefits; Bill Fox, Vice President and Senior Consultant, Group Benefits, from the Silverstone Group.

6:30 pm               Cocktails and Networking

7:30 pm               Mill Dinner

Tuesday, April 30th

7:30 am               Breakfast Breakout Session

Build on the discussions from Monday, discuss how your peers are dealing with the Affordable Care Act, and share ideas and experiences. Monday's speakers will join us to help with questions. Breakouts will also discuss the current business climate and what keeps you up at night. If you have a topic you would like to have included in the breakout discussions, please email Julie Metsker at j.metsker@centralfabricators.org

9:15 am               Breakout Debrief (with entire group)

Share with the entire group the discussions from small group breakouts. Our speakers will join us to enhance the discussion and answer questions.

10:30 am             Introductory Session on Peer Groups and Registration

This session will explain CFA's new initiative to offer a pilot Peer Group to those who are interested. A Peer Group will offer you the opportunity to be part of an ongoing group that meets and looks at issues important to your business. Our intention is to consider forming groups approved by all members of the group. The Peer Group will develop a charter and agenda of topics important to the group. High level information learned and approved by the group will be shared with other members.

This session will allow for questions, an opportunity to meet the facilitators and hear more about how this initiative will work. Members will be asked to sign up to participate in the Pilot Peer Group at the end of the session.
